Measurement Guidelines: For inside mounted shades, ensure a minimum window depth of 2 inches to install the brackets. Measure the window opening width and subtract 3/8 inch to determine the correct shade size. For outside mounted shades, measure the overall window size (including the frame) and order an additional 2-6 inches in width and 5-8 inches in height. When raising a Roman shade completely, it will take up approximately 1/5 of the shade's width. Lining options are not available for these Roman shades, but we are constantly working to improve our product offerings.
